Going by the trend and release timing of other Telugu movies, Venkatesh's 'Ganga The Bodyguard' movie release date could be October 21. Bodyguard movie has Trisha and Saloni as female leads and the movie is into the last leg of production. The makers are planning to have Ganga The Bodyguard Telugu movie release date on October 21, but this thought is still in the nascent stage. Ganga The Bodyguard Telugu remake is directed by Gopichand Malineni (Don Seenu fame) and produced by Bellamkonda Suresh under Sri Sai Ganesh Productions. SS Thaman is composing the music and Kona Venkat is writing the script.

Venkatesh’s upcoming movie Bodyguard release date has been once again postponed.Earlier the makers of the film planned to release the movie in October was postponed to December and now it is scheduled to release for 2012 Pongal.Bodyguard is releasing on January 12, 2012.Trisha is zeroed in as Venky's love interest in the film while Saloni is playing a key role in Bodygurad movie.Thaman is rendering tunes for the film.Gopichand Malineni is directing the movie while Bellamkonda Suresh is producing Bodyguard movie under Sri Sai Ganesh Productions banner.
Finally Venkatesh's Bodyguard movie is in Sankranthi race along with The Businessman, Nippu, Adhinayakudu etc., which are in que fortopping a big success.
